Lao Airlines Resumes Direct Flights Between Vientiane and Da Nang

Vientiane, Laos – Lao Airlines has announced the resumption of its non-stop flight service between Vientiane and Da Nang, according to a recent news report. The flag carrier operated its first flight in over three years on Thursday, with 150 passengers on board. The direct air route had been suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Starting this week, Lao Airlines will operate two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays between the two cities. The resumption of the direct route is expected to meet the increasing demand of visitors in the region following the lifting of travel restrictions.

Noudeng Chanthaphasouk, the commercial director of Lao Airlines, said in a statement, “The direct route between Vientiane and Da Nang was favored by a large number of tourists before the Covid-19 outbreak. We are delighted to restart this service and contribute to the recovery of tourism in the region.”

According to the report, Laos was one of the top 10 sources of tourism for Da Nang in 2022, with nearly 10,000 arrivals, accounting for 2% of its total foreign visitors. Lao Airlines had already resumed its direct flight services to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City after both countries reopened tourism.

The resumption of Lao Airlines’ direct flight service is expected to further strengthen the tourism ties between Laos and Vietnam, providing more convenience for travelers between the two countries.

Lux Travel DMC Celebrates 18 Years Anniversary

(Hanoi, 9/3/2022) Lux Travel Dmc, a leading Destination Management Company, is proud to celebrate its 18th anniversary in the travel industry. Founded in 2005 by Pham Ha, the company has grown to become a trusted and respected brand in the industry, with a strong reputation for providing exceptional service and unforgettable travel experiences. With a team of experienced and dedicated travel experts, Lux Travel has helped thousands of customers plan and enjoy their dream vacations.

Speaking on the occasion of the company’s 18th anniversary, Pham Ha expressed his gratitude to the Lux Travel DMC team for their hard work and dedication over the years: “We would not be as successful and happy as we are today at Lux Group if it weren’t for the wholehearted dedication, creativity, and daily effort of our Luxers. They have always been with us, sharing our journey to bring happiness to others, and many of them have been loyal contributors since the early days of our establishment.”

Pham Ha, Ceo of Lux Group

Pham Ha, the founder and CEO of Lux Travel DMC, has been the driving force behind the company’s success. His vision for Lux Travel DMC has always been to elevate the tourism industry in Vietnam to new heights, by providing visitors with personalized and luxury experiences. However, the early years of Lux Travel DMC were not without challenges, with limited resources and a highly competitive market. Despite this, the company remained focused on its goal and gradually expanded its reach beyond Vietnam to other parts of Southeast Asia

In that journey, Lux Travel has expanded its network of partners and suppliers, enabling the company to offer competitive prices and exclusive deals to its customers. Lux Travel DMC has also expanded its offerings to include Lux Cruise, a luxurious and comfortable way to explore the beauty of Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay.

However, the Covid-19 pandemic posed a significant challenge to Lux Travel, as it did to many businesses around the world. The travel industry was hit hard by the pandemic, with travel restrictions and lockdowns leading to a sharp decline in demand for travel services. Lux Travel had to quickly adapt to the changing situation and implement new measures to ensure the safety and well-being of customers and employees. One of the company campaigns is to provide timely updates and guidance on travel restrictions and safety measures, and work tirelessly to help customers reschedule or cancel their trips.

Through determination, Lux Travel has emerged from the pandemic stronger than ever.  The company has recently added Sri Lanka to its list of destinations and is planning to expand its offerings to other parts of Asia in the near future. Their efforts have not gone unnoticed. Lux Travel DMC has received several awards and accolades over the years, including the Asia leading tour operator and World Travel Award in 2021 and 2022.

World Travel Awards

As Lux Travel DMC celebrates its 18th anniversary and looks towards the future with optimism, the company has chosen the key word of 2023 to be “Together.” In line with this theme, Lux Travel DMC remains committed to promoting responsible and sustainable travel practices that protect the environment and benefit local communities.

As Lux Travel DMC celebrates its 18th anniversary, the company would like to express its gratitude to its loyal customers, partners, and employees. Lux Travel DMC’s success would not have been possible without their support and trust. The company is looking forward to continuing its journey together with partners and customers.
